A continuation our tour with Latin American film director Romano, where the team went to the Brazilian and South American market in Queensway. A market, similar to Brixton, but with a heavier emphasis on the delicacies of South America. It is a one-stop shop for everything South American.

Flavia & Anais Dinner

Enrolled at infamous Central Saint Martin’s, Flavia loved London so much she decided to never leave. Flavia brought some of her friends to dinner at Made in Brasil. We also met Anais, who brought her mum along, who "is an incredible dancer".

Lunch with Yara Rodrigues

Yara is a Brazilian-British novelist and activist from London. In 2019 she was shortlisted for the Sunday Times young writer of the year award for her debut, ‘Stubborn Archivist’, cited as “a formally inventive novel of growing up between cultures”.

Javie Huxley Dinner

Javie is a British-Chilean illustrator based in London, with a Masters in Children's Literature and Children's illustration from Goldsmiths. She is a key figure in the activist organization, Save Latin Village - an important shopping centre for the Latin American community in Sevin Sisters. We met five other activists and community organisers for dinner in North London.

Chilean-British author Alexandra of ‘Raíces/Roots’ - a publication exploring the voices of the Latin American community in the neighbourhoods of Elephant and Castle. We had a tour with Alexandra of Southwark, along with four members of the Brazilian & South American community.
